Your annual dues of $25 per household support the work of the SHNA. Our dues are used to pay for printed communications and mailings, materials for communal landscaping projects, meeting room rental as needed, insurance, neighborhood social events like our annual picnic, dues to the Fayette County Neighborhood Council, the website, and to retain legal services if needed. All of the work for our projects is done by unpaid volunteers. 

Membership in the SHNA is extended to any individual or family household property owner, who has paid annual dues. Each member household in good standing has one vote per household and may vote on any and all matters at a regular or special meeting of the SHNA.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to be a dues-paying member of the SHNA to attend our social events. These are fun occasions to meet and visit with neighbors old and new! Anyone currently residing in our Southern Heights neighborhood is welcome and encouraged to join the fun. See you there!

Board members, in fulfilling their duties, have access to the membership and email list.  The email list is maintained by board member(s) in charge of email communications. It its not to be sold or used for solicitation. Interests and general family information is used by the board to determine need for special programs and events. You may be asked if you would like to be included in a neighborhood directory.
