Dec 14, 2020 – IMPORTANT – Board of Adjustment (BOA) public hearing – cut-through access route between Jesslin and Edgemoor.
Many of you received a notice in the mail earlier this month of the city’s Board of Adjustment public hearing taking place tomorrow on 12/14/2020 at 1:30pm. Earlier this year, the US Bank Building at 2020 Nicholasville Road tore down a section of the brick wall between its parking lot and the lot behind the former single-family home at 1950 Nicholasville Road. This created an access road between Jesselin and Edgemoor drives, increasing traffic on Edgemoor. When Southern Heights neighbors on Edgemoor looked into it, the city found that the bank had no permits and stopped the work. But the damage was already done. The bank was granted permits and faced no penalties. Your board hired attorney Jessica Winters, who quickly found ample reasons to appeal the permits. We urge you to speak out against this issue if you are available.

We realize this is extremely short notice for those of you who did not receive a notification from the city via US mail. But if you have time, please submit your comments to planningmailbox@lexingtonky.gov by Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
The full agenda will be available at www.lexingtonky.gov/calendar.
