We are excited to be launching this website and hope that it will serve as a nice resource for our neighbors (In particular, for those neighbors who do not use social media). We recognize that there are lots of ways to receive information about what is happening in our neighborhood, and we view this website as just another way in which we may provide helpful info related to SHNA news, meetings, and events.
We encourage those neighbors who use Facebook to make sure to also join the neighborhood facebook groups. You will find that your neighbors are very active on these groups and it is a fast, efficient way to communicate with one another:
The Southern Heights Neighborhood Association Facebook Page is the official Facebook page of the association. It is a Public Group Page administered by the SHNA Board of Directors in order to provide important information about the neighborhood. It may also be used by group members to share information, ask questions, and communicate in general.
The Southern Heights Neighborhood Group Facebook Page is a Closed Group Page administered by neighbors. It is an extremely active and helpful resource for sharing info among neighbors.
This website is a work in progress and we will be revising it over the next few months adding features, etc… Please be patient with us as we work through all of the kinks and flesh out more details. We will be surveying our members for feedback at some point over the summer. Thanks again for your support!
